Tim Weyker

Tim Weyker serves the City of Mequon as the Deputy Director of Public Works. The Deputy Director of Public Works is responsible for overall supervision of the maintenance and repair of City highways and overall supervision of all parks, building and equipment maintenance. Tim also assists in planning, organizing and administering all phases of a major public works function, which may include infrastructure design, construction management and inspection, traffic divisions through subordinate management as designated. Tim oversees and supports the Highway Superintendent, Parks and Forestry Superintendent, Fleet Superintendent, and Building Superintendent who plan and direct daily operations of the highway, building, parks,  equipment maintenance, and forestry divisions.

Prior to being Deputy Director, Tim was an Engineering Technician with the City from 1993 to 2018. In that role, he was most involved with the City’s annual road program for the maintenance and rehabilitation of the City’s 200+ mile system of roadways. Prior to working for the City, Tim worked three summers on road crews for the Ozaukee County Highway Department and worked three years for WisDOT on both design and construction survey crews. Tim studied Civil Engineering at Marquette University and the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee as well as Civil Engineering Technology at Milwaukee Area Technical College.
