- Mequon currently has one of the lowest tax rates in Wisconsin. The City strives to give residents and business the most of each tax dollar.
- The City is home to a first-class education system from pre-kindergarten to post-graduate. The Mequon-Thiensville School District (MTSD) is a public K-12 learning institution that is consistently ranked among the highest-performing school districts in the state of Wisconsin. On top of that, there are higher education options close to home, such as Concordia University and MATC.
- Mequon's location provides convent access to transportation and ship through Mitchell International Airport, the Port of Milwaukee, and Interstate 43.
