Jac Zader

Assistant Director of Community Development assists in the day to day operations of the department and manages current development projects to coordinate and streamline the approval process from start to finish with various boards and commissions as well as necessary county and state agencies and other city departments such as Engineering and the Inspections Division.  Jac works closely with the Community Development Director to coordinate major development projects, develop and implement public planning initiatives and collaborates on special planning projects.  In addition, Jac takes the lead on initiatives related to open space as well as various public policy initiatives.  Jac holds two Master’s Degrees; one in Urban Planning and one in Management Information Systems.  Jac also holds several certifications including AICP (American Institute of Certified Planners), EDFP (Economic Development Finance Professional) and CFM (Certified Floodplain Manager). Jac is also a certified inspector, which adds value between the Department’s Planning Division and Inspections Division.
