WIS 57 & WIS 100 Project Update

Department contractors continue to progress on WIS 57 (Green Bay Road) and WIS 100 (Brown Deer Road) construction. In mid-August, contractors began the next phase of WIS 57 and WIS 100 construction. The project currently remains on schedule to open WIS 57 to through traffic in late fall. The project also remains on schedule to open WIS 100 to two lanes of traffic in both directions on new eastbound and westbound roadways from the Wisconsin Southern Railroad Crossing to Kildeer Court. The intersection of WIS 57 and Donges Bay Road is scheduled to open to stop control the week of Monday, September 12, and fully open under new traffic signal control the week of Monday, September 26.

WIS 57 (Green Bay Road) 
Contractors have completed the new WIS 57 northbound roadway from the intersection of Brown Deer Rd. up to the intersection with Deerwood Drive and the reconditioning of northbound pavement from Deerwood Drive to County Line Road. Contractors will complete grading and storm sewer operations south of Deerwood Drive through the month of September in anticipation of completing concrete paving operations from the intersection of WIS 57 with Teutonia Avenue up to Deerwood Drive through the month of October.

WIS 100 (Brown Deer Road)
Contractors have completed the new eastbound roadway from the new Wisconsin Southern Railroad crossing to Kildeer Court. Contractors anticipate beginning grading and storm sewer operations along the new westbound roadway beginning the week of Monday, September 19, with concrete paving scheduled for late October into November.
