Channel 25 Audio and Video Repairs Underway
The City of Mequon operates equipment in the Common Council Chambers to broadcast meetings of the Common Council and Planning Commission. The City’s IT Division has been working to fix a humming sound that can be heard during broadcasts and continuously on Spectrum Channel 25. Several adjustments have been made to reduce the noise during broadcasts. The remaining repair is with Spectrum’s equipment at City Hall. The City is in Spectrum’s queue to have its analog system repaired or replaced as soon as a specialized technician is available. The repair should also allow the City to resume live broadcasts on Spectrum Channel 25. The IT Division will provide another update once the repairs have been completed.

Civic Campus Parking Lot Reopens
On Wednesday, crews completed laying the asphalt and pavement marking of the parking lot shared by the Weyenberg Library, Community Pool, and Rennicke Field. Thereafter, the lot reopened for use by the public on Thursday morning.  Please avoid walking on the straw along the curb while new grass is being grown.  On behalf of the City, thank you to all for continued patience as this project was completed.

Taste of Mequon is Tomorrow
